The Beauty of Color in Motion

Hummingbirds are plentiful in tropical rain forests, their iridescent colors like glittering gems among rainbows. They are the most skillful fliers of all birds, hovering and flying in each direction, even backwards. Blink and you miss where they just were.

They eat mostly the nectar of flowers and are major pollinators. There are over 300 species.

And how many photos do I have of them? I could not stop clicking…their strength, agility and steadfastness kept my camera glued to their tireless flight, my own heart pounding with excitement.
