The Indiana State Bird in my Backyard, A Cardinal

This morning I am thinking about passion for life, to stay focused upon the true north of my creative intentions, even as I prepare for a brief detour that will feather my imagination with a flame of fire.

I see a regal, noble bird that endures all seasons, stays the course even in the roughest weather.

It is seen all twelve months of the year and its nest often contains 12 eggs. It is a fiercely protective feisty character, part of the finch family, reminding me to pay attention to what is important. I see the female now, not as vibrant as this male, and are those crows I hear?

Ah yes, from last night’s journey dropping into Ordinary Reality. Wings, Wings, and more Wings in my life.
