This is the first photo I took of one of my favorite places at Mosswood Hollow.
I flew from Seattle to San Francisco on the way here. The flight was interesting.
A young mother handed her baby to me so she could get settled in the seat next to where I sat in the middle. When she did, the baby girl’s huge blue eyes met mine and then she dropped her head into my shoulder and hugged me. I held her for much of the two hour flight so the mom could have some personal time.
I am reminded of the sweetness in trust and love, and grateful for this week’s experiences which will most likely put me on a path to receive this message, again.
There is so much power in a single act, word or gaze and in seeing the world through a newborn’s eyes.
